Lecture: Academician dr.sc. Nir Tusk – “Entrepreneurship and Innovation – The Language of Innovation”

On Friday, May 13, 2022, starting at 1:00 PM, the lecture “Entrepreneurship and Innovation – the Language of Innovation”.

The lecturer is academician Dr. Nir Tusk.

Dr Nir Tsuk is an experienced academic and expert with more than 25 years of international experience in social capital, entrepreneurship and

innovation and a proud descendant of the Croatian Morpurgo family. During his tenure as an associate professor at Osaka University and as NYU’s global distinguished scientist, Nir founded the Institute for Impact and Intrapreneurship for New York University, through which a culture of innovation is shared with those most in need.

Before that, Nir was in charge of growing and strengthening influence at idealist.org – the world’s largest online talent acquisition platform – as head of growth and development and brought Ashoka – the world’s largest social entrepreneurship organization – to Israel.

 

After spending some time as director of the global community in Ashoka, Washington DC, he has connected more than 3,000 social entrepreneurs in 72 states. Nir defended his doctorate at the University of Cambridge in social and political sciences, where he also wrote a dissertation on social networks, social capital and intentional communities. He previously led policy research initiatives at the Community Development Foundation in London and the Department of Social Affairs at the Israeli Parliament in Jerusalem.
